great!

"Unused bamboo toothbrushes can stay fresh for many years. But given the wet climate of Asia, we have attached an expiration date to remind you to use it ASAP. As long as there is no black mold on the bamboo handle, a toothbrush remains usable even past the expiration date." - to those who wonder why you have molds on your bamboo toothbrushes / cases ^^ anyway, overall this product is really eco-friendly considering still how many people buy plastic toothbrushes. works well with those who have sensitive gums, the bristles are very soft which helped me! worth the price so definitely gonna buy again!

I agree with one of the reviews below

Okay, so experienced the same thing as one of the reviewers below, Geraldine. I enjoyed this at first kahit medyo weird yung lasa nya kasi nga gawa sya sa bamboo, pero overall kaya naman. I soaked this na din in hot water but it did not work. Wala pang isang bwan tinagal nito saken so I guess this isn't so eco-friendly after all, kasi di din naman naman magtatagal sayo.

Great!!

My first ever bamboo toothbrush and I’m really happy about it. Not too expensive unlike the other one’s I’ve seen yet it performs as it should. Bristles are soft and it doesn’t hurt my gums since I have super sensitive gums hehe. Fast delivery too! Will definitely repurchase and stock up!

yes to bamboo toothbrush!

The first toothbrush that I purchased (not this brand) was a bit pricey and it made my gums bleed. I already heard of this brand and I wanted to try it out good thing that they’re available here in beautymnl. I got in on sale so I took the chance and purchased 4 toothbrushes and I have no regrets, the bristles did not make my gums bleed and it effectively cleans my teeth. The downside is that it takes a long time to dry i don’t know if it’s because of my organic toothpaste or what. This product is great for those people who tries to live sustainably. I hope everyone would make the switch :)

Repurchased!

Was weirded out by the wooden base at first, but after a few times of using I found that I really liked this vs. my old toothbrushes. Since this is my second time purchasing, here's a few tips: Make sure to clean it thoroughly. Given that the bristles are pretty dense, running it over running water just won't do. When done, pat the wooden base dry with a towel. I found that leaving it on the toothbrush holder/rack can cause it to drip a yellow-ish substance because of the wood. And make sure to change it after 3 months or so. The bristles can be a bit worn-out after this time, and also for hygienic purposes. Will probably purchase again. :)

There's just one big problem

Okay, let me start off by saying that during the first several uses, absolutely loved this. I felt like it cleaned my teeth well, and even though my gums are sensitive, it didn't make them bleed. I love that this is eco-friendly as well, and that's really the reason why I got this in the first place. However, after around two weeks of use, I noticed that the bristles just don't become completely clean. This is quite difficult to describe, but I'll try. Basically, I noticed that the bristles were sticking to one another and that they seemed to have taken on a quite whitish color in some parts. Upon closer infection, I noticed that there's a (mucus-like) substance clinging on to the bristles that make them stick together, and the whitish parts are--well, I don't really know--stuff that look like dust. I've done everything to try to clean it, holding it under running water, soaking the bristles in mouthwash, etc. Nothing works. Note, too, that this is the first time this has ever happened to a toothbrush of mine in all my three decades of existence. So yeah, I hope they look into the bristles of this one, because as of now, I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Dental health is a big deal to me, and having gunk on my toothbrush is a big no-no.
