Founded by successful models-turned-makeup artists Jean and Jane Ford, Benefit was built on the premise that “makeup doesn’t have to be serious to look good.” For the twin Fords, laughter was always the best cosmetic, a belief they infused into each of their products from the get-go. Just check out the quirky packaging and cheeky labels that accompany Benefit’s beauty boosters and you’ll get the drift! Today, the mega-brand is known for its insta-pretty solutions and ever-playful approach to beauty.
I'm so happy with this purchase and I'm glad that I just got the mini instead of the original size. I tried it as soon as I got it and I love the subtle pink it gives my cheeks. I also like the gold shimmers - but based on video reviews it's only found on the top layer. This is perfect for everyday use and for achieving the "drunk blush" effect.21 days ago
I've got the version of this that comes with Benefit's Blush Bar set. Like all Benefit powders, it's A+ quality: smells lovely, feels great on your face, mixes well with pretty much all products, doesn't cake, doesn't settle into fine lines. With regard to the way it looked on my face: it was honestly gorgeous. The only reason why it's second place in my book is because I prefer Rockateur over it given that Rockateur is better for every day use. Gold Rush's shine is suited a little more for glam looks, events, or parties out with friends rather than standard office wear - but, again, that could depend on what you're going for, or for the sort of place you work at. If you want something that'll help you shine bright and glow beautiful, try this one.about 1 month ago
