it's an ok soap? good for the brushes and sponges but doesnt feel like its really oil based
The soap is ok it also smells nice. I wanted to try it because it claims that it is an oil based soap. Which I expected would be moisturizing as a normal oil based soap would be, like what you could buy from high end stores to home based shops. first of the suds was the 1st sign that i would not like it because oil based soaps doesnt bubble that much it felt more like a glycerin based soap. When i used it on my face it felt drying. Then when it melted, it really resembles a glycerin soap melting with water. I dont know if it has a glycerin base on it as a mixture with the oil base or purely glycerin (kinda cheating when it claims to be oil based). But it's a nice inexpensive soap for cleaning makeup sponge and brushes.

Smell-good charcoal soap
This reminded me of the fresh smell of extraderm soap. You get the squeaky clean feeling and very smooth on the skin. Just I wouldn’t suggest rubbing it on the skin for exfoliating coz there are tiny particles that can scratch your skin ( as in literally scratched)and that’s the only downside I can say.
