Real -not so- Lasting Eye Pencil

Bought the 2 Real Lasting Eye Pencil (one Super Black and one Brown Black) a couple months ago. They are quite pricey compared to other eyeliners. If you twist. the pen to see the full extent of the liner itself, you'll see that it's less than an inch in length. It is also very thin which has its pros and cons. If you extend it chances are it is going to break on the other hand its thinness also allows you draw slender lines you just want to be subtle (but of course its buildable). Another good thing about this liner is that it glides smoothly and it does not iritate the skin

One of the best!

I have monolid eyes and eyeliners are one of the make ups I try to avoid. Some products would state that it is long wearing, smudge proof, water proof and whatnot but it would smudge all over my eyes after 2-3 hours. However, this product didn't smudge in my eyes for a whole day!

Great eyeliner, not so for a tightline

My everyday makeup consists of full, natural-looking brows and a tightline. I bought this for that last part, with Marc Jacobs fineline ultra skinny gel eye crayon (which gives a clean, even and solid black) as baseline. In comparison, when on, this is just as pigmented as that with a bit of texture. I've tried several eyeliners and nothing came close to MJ's on the waterline, pigmentation-wise, so I'm quite impressed. It glides on smoothly with zero tugging. I can't vouch for the 24-hour longevity but it did last me a solid 10 hours with only a little bit of product stamped to the bottom waterline. Plus it took some effort to take off, even with a waterproof makeup remover. Now for the cons: there's only an inch-long worth of product inside the pen, so really, not much. But I can overlook the price for the look it gave. What's bothersome though, and this is why I'm not repurchasing, is that it stung starting at the 6th hour up until until 3 hours after I took it off. It wasn't so bad that I had to wash it off but it was uncomfortable. All in all, I'd say this is a great eyeliner for top of the lashes but wouldn't recommend it for tightlining due to the stinging sensation.
