Wonderful Oil!

It moisturizes, softens and lightens your facial skin. It specifically lightens your pimple scars with everyday use. Me and my husband have been using this, after cleansing and toning, for 2 weeks now. It makes your face glow and soft (check the next morning). It is not too oily but just enough to moisturize. I do not think it's heavy on the face, it just feels different than creamy/watery facial moisturizer. I still like it because it's pure oil and cold pressed. One of the cheapest brand of Rosehip Oil. I am mainly using this for lightening my scars. Great buy! Hoping to get another bottle on sale. ;)

Good moisturizer

The first thing that got me to try this is its price. It is quite less expensive than other rosehip oils. I used it only at night as a moisturizer since it leaves a greasy film after application and does not layer well with makeup. Regarding its claims, I did not notice anything different after 3 months use except that it has faded very slightly my fresh acne marks BUT not the old ones which I am still struggling of. Hence, I am currently trying other brands to compare it to.

Heavy but it’s a good try 🙂

The consistency is quite thick and the smell is a bit strong too but don’t fret the result is good. I used it on my underarms and it did lighten up and those tiny chicken skin evened out. I prefer using it at night since I don’t usually put on deo at bedtime. It eases shaving time, especially when used for an aftercare shave—less irritation 😌

PCOS friendly. Bye acne!

I've been struggling with acne back in 2017. I have PCOS and as most of us know, acne is one of the many symptoms of PCOS. Since then, i am on the hunt for a skin care product that would tame my acne at least specially during my red days. As i was going through some youtube vids, i came across this korean vlogger (just forgot her name) she shared her own journey to clear skin. She used facial oils, at first i was skeptical but what can i lose? Well i need to lose my acne that's a fact. So i gave this a try. I oil cleanse my face with jojoba oil. After washing my face i combine aloe gel (esfolio) + sunflower oil + hemp seed oil (for night routine). My morning routine is composed mainly by rosehip oil + hemp seed oil. I used to put tamanu oil on my active acne back then. And i noticed after 1wk that my active acne is almost healing. After 2weeks they're gone. Acne marks are still present but that doesn't concern me as much as big red pimple/s popping in my face. PS: whenever i notice an impending breakout i just add tamanu oil religiously. Like i put it 4-5x a day and the next day the threat is gone. Thumbs up!

Not for me

I bought this oil because I thought I could do with a new moisturizing element. It does have a strange smell, but that is normal and not what bothered me. I gave the oil a try, and for 2 weeks I Patten a pea-sized amount after my daily moisturizer. It could have been just my skin, but I started getting small breakouts along my chin. Skin did start feeling a but softer, but also so red and irritated. I thought I may have been purging, but the irritation didn't stop. If you are sure you don't have those side effects, you can give this a try. For now, I'll stick to squalene oil for moisturizing my face.

Rosehip oil just might be my new bestfriend!

I did some research on rosehip oil and its effect on acne after having a bad breakout which is why I ended up buying this product. This claims to aid in the skin regeneration process and to prevent skin aging as well. After using this for a month, I can gladly say that this is working for me! I add 5 drops to my moisturizer at night and 3 drops in the morning (which should be followed by sunscreen) everyday and the scars and acne I had had all flattened down. My skin is healing faster than usual as well. It does leave your face a bit shiny but it doesn't leave the face feeling greasy. This will not prevent you from getting breakouts though. I got hormonal acne right before my period but that's out of any product's control. So I'm still gonna say I love this product!
