As much as I love Human Nature as a brand, I’m not really a fan of this scrub. I don’t like it’s smell and consistency. For me the scrub was a little too rough with it’s salt/scrub particles and the smell was far from anything coffee — more like plastic-y.
I read that coffee scrub helps minimize the apperance of stretch marks and this didn't fail to deliver. It smells so good and perks me up. I also use this as a scrub for my legs and feet because it effectively sloughs off dead skin cells, therefore improving the texture of my skin without being rough. I also love its moisturizing effect, so I have the option not to apply lotion after bathing when I'm feeling lazy. 😆
I don't know why it reminds me of instant coffee. Maybe because it smells like coffee but at the same time it also smells sweet (perhaps it's the vanilla)? Overall, it's a good product. My skin feels soft and moisturized after using it. My husband also uses it on his chest and he thinks it might be helping to calm the small bumps. I am a fan of Human Nature - been using their sunflower oil as makeup remover for a year now and I am loving it.
•I'm really used to bath salts, sugar scrubs and other bigger granules/seeds as exfoliator. This, somehow, has smaller seeds/granules but is already enough to exfoliate my skin.
•You really get what you pay for. I think the price is enough for the quality and quantity of the product.
•I'm not really a fan of the smell. It smells like coffee + butter, I don't really know how to decribe it exactly. I find it strong and makes me dizzy.
•It's good to have an alternative body scrub that contains natural ingredients.
•I recommend this. You should give it a try.
