PERFECT FOR: Refining skin texture and tone

”I’ve been using this for about a week now along with the salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid 2% + B5. I noticed a difference in my skin tone after only one use. My skin tone is a bit more even and I’m not really having any new breakouts from it—for reference I am dry, acne/blackhead prone, and sensitive. I don’t see any totally groundbreaking results yet but it has only been a week. I do find this serum sticky but the stickiness goes away after about 1 minute. The key is to use a really small amount (I use about 3-4 drops). I have to PAT this into my skin NOT RUB because it will start to pill a little bit on top of the salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid. Even though the texture is not ideal, it really doesn’t bother me because it dries down and soaks in quickly on my dry skin. I am hoping that with continued use, this might take care of some of my older acne scars and sun spots. So far so good, and I love that it is cruelty free, vegan, silicone free, and alcohol free!”

”I can’t even explain how much I love this product!!! By far my fav Vit C product, especially for people with dry and aging skin. I feel like it really nourishes my skin making it so soft and plump. I use it AM and PM in combination with Resveratrol and follow by NMF. The perfect combination <3”

the effective Vitamin C for me!

As with the other The Ordinary products, this does not disappoint. I bought several of TO products already except the Vitamin C ones since I am still finishing up my bottle of Tiam Vitamin C. Once done, I immediately bought this TO Ascorbyl Glucoside since among the Vitamin C variants, this does not conflict with Niacinamide and other acids or antioxidants. I use this twice a week (during night time only!) layered with Resveratrol and Ferulic Acid. After one month of use, my skin transformed into a clearer, brighter and less oily face. I like this better than Tiam. Will definitely buy again. Thank you TO for making highly effective and price-worthy products for beautyholics like me.

light and absorbs quickly by the skin

I purchased this because I wanted to try some of the The Ordinary products. Application wise, this is is light in texture and just absorbs by the skin almost immediately upon applying with a very slight bubbly effect. I don't feel a sting sensation. I am waiting for at least a month to see results.

First time to use any kind of acid on my face and it actually lightened my scars! It needs super consistent use to work though. Not sure if it brightened my face exactly but I did feel like it lightened and evened out my skintone. I'd like to try other products by The Ordinary too, but I heard this is also one of the best vitamin Cs out there. I would def repurchase.

Stable and effective vitamin C

This has helped lighten my pimple marks and even out my skin tone. It doesn’t sting and there’s no scent. Being a derivative, it’s the most stable vitamin C I have ever used that still has visible effects. Plus, it’s not as expensive as most vitamin C serums! I only use it once a day, so I still have more than half of the bottle even after a month of using.

Most stable form of vit C with high potency but low/no irritation

Been using mine for five months now and while I'm planning to add a more potent (20%) ascorbic acid to my stash, I'm not giving up on this one, relegating it to my morning routine instead along with TO's niacinamide. Simply because it works! It brightens pigmentation, in weeks, with zero irritation (in my case anyway) and it's very stable. It came clear in the bottle and 5 months in, it's still clear with none of the yellowing/oxidizing complaints I read from other Vit C products. It has a runny consistency but dries sticky. I'd pat this on the face (wiping/slathering it on often leads to small foams here and there) and let it sit for a couple of minutes before layering.

wish there was a 20% of this type of vit c

Using this after my 20% Vitamin C serum from Tiam expired. I like it since it is in a colored bottle and it says that it is a 'stabilized Vitamin C derivative.' It is also colorless and doesn't leave a tint behind. When I inquired with The Ordinary, they also said that this is a safe vitamin c to use with Niacinamide. I just wish that this had a higher percentage as I came from using a 20%. It has a somewhat sticky after feel to it, but tolerable.
