PERFECT FOR: Refining skin texture and tone

”I’ve been using this for about a week now along with the salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid 2% + B5. I noticed a difference in my skin tone after only one use. My skin tone is a bit more even and I’m not really having any new breakouts from it—for reference I am dry, acne/blackhead prone, and sensitive. I don’t see any totally groundbreaking results yet but it has only been a week. I do find this serum sticky but the stickiness goes away after about 1 minute. The key is to use a really small amount (I use about 3-4 drops). I have to PAT this into my skin NOT RUB because it will start to pill a little bit on top of the salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid. Even though the texture is not ideal, it really doesn’t bother me because it dries down and soaks in quickly on my dry skin. I am hoping that with continued use, this might take care of some of my older acne scars and sun spots. So far so good, and I love that it is cruelty free, vegan, silicone free, and alcohol free!”

”I can’t even explain how much I love this product!!! By far my fav Vit C product, especially for people with dry and aging skin. I feel like it really nourishes my skin making it so soft and plump. I use it AM and PM in combination with Resveratrol and follow by NMF. The perfect combination <3”

wish there was a 20% of this type of vit c

Using this after my 20% Vitamin C serum from Tiam expired. I like it since it is in a colored bottle and it says that it is a 'stabilized Vitamin C derivative.' It is also colorless and doesn't leave a tint behind. When I inquired with The Ordinary, they also said that this is a safe vitamin c to use with Niacinamide. I just wish that this had a higher percentage as I came from using a 20%. It has a somewhat sticky after feel to it, but tolerable.

Bright Skin=Happy Me

I am beginning to experiment using Vitamin C Serums and this serum is actually real great for beginners out there. No stinging felt but it still does the job. Been using for 2 weeks and my skin really brightened, glowed and blemishes are GONE. Will be purchasing more of The Ordinary's products :)

Really brightens and clears

I was waiting for at least a month before I write my review but I got my impressions validated when I went to get my regular facial session. So after using this in the evening for
2 weeks, I noticed my face became clearer in the sense of being brighter and pimple marks getting smaller (the Matrixyl 10% also helped with that). When I went to get a facial, my aesthetician asked if I used anything special because she commented that even if I hadn't visited for almost 3 months, my pimples were small and almost just at the surface, there were also less whiteheads and blackheads. In short, my face was "cleaner" This is very different when I went to my sessions before where I had to be pricked galore bec of all the blemishes. The only product that I added to my routine was this one and the matrixyl (and retinoid but I stopped that 10 days before my facial) so I can definitely say this works!
