”I already adore this formula! I’ve been using it for about 5 days only and I was impressed to see the smoothness in my skin right away, as well as improvement in my hyperpigmentation. I came to this forum to see if the responses in general are similar to mine (just to be sure the magic really was from this product), it really is :) So far, absolutely no signs of irritation as I was expecting, looking forward to up my retinol game as my skin gets more and more used to it.”

Truth be told, I started off being skeptical about using this product on my 1st month. There wasn’t any improvement at all. But as time goes by, I’m starting to see that some of my pimples are starting to dry out, few fine lines on my forehead is starting to disappear and the blackheads on my nose started to reduce. Now on the last week of my 2nd month using this product, I have very few blackheads now, pimples became Marks now and oh! No more fine lines! There’s no such thing as a 2-week miracle. You just need to wait for your skin to adjust to product for you to see results and this made my skin feel awesome. It’s not really drying on the skin, just the part where you have pimples. It didn’t cause any redness as the formulation is mild. I recommend this product if you have oily skin as I do cause GURLLLL Glass skin? Try this! Word of advice though, don’t use this with Vitamin C. Don’t use too much as it will feel greasy, 2-3 drops is fine then you can continúe sealing it with your night cream or any moisturizer. In the morning make sure to put on sunscreen on your face. Applying retinol at night will make wonders for your skin! And also, be patient cause in my first month I didn’t like this, however it changed when I still continued using it and it has done wonders.

A holy grail for skin texture.

I bought this because I want to start using a retinol before my 20s and I went with this one because it's the lowest percentage and because of the hype around this product. I am in love with this product. I got a small scar above my upper lip which cause a small dent on that area. After using this continuously, I am amazed at how effective this product is for my scarring. I don't have wrinkles yet because of my young age but I am quite pleased with the effects it has on my skin texture.

It's Awesome! Definitely made my skin smoother and it didn't cause any irritation at all. Feels oily but that's to be expected since it has squalane in it. I'm always careful to use it at night and use sunscreen in the morning. This is my 2nd HG product below the AHA30%+BHA2%. Next time I'm gonna try to work my way up to a stronger retinol formulation.

Made my skin smoother but didn't help much with the fine lines

I tried this product because I really want to get rid of the fine line under my eyes. I stumbled upon The Ordinary retinoids and according to my research, it is advisable that I start with the 0.2%. I started putting it under my eye area on the first few nights but later on I decided to put it all over my face. Good thing I did because: 1. It made me acne-free 2. My skin became so smooth and moisturized 3. It gave me that glass skin effect This convinced me to hoard all of The Ordinary retinoid products. Hopefully they restock very soon.

Feels greasy

I had previously used up 2 bottles of the Granactive retinoid emulsion, and switched to this to try if there is more of an effect. I use this every other night. So far, I've had no adverse effects. This does feel very greasy for me though. I only use 3 drops for my whole face, but somehow the oil never seems to get fully absorbed, which bothers me. I will use this up, and then decide on whether I will move up to the. 5 Retinol variant, or go back to the Granactive retinoid emulsion.

Great price, great value, great product

This is the best product I have ever used for my fine lines. I use it every other night and it has made a significant change in my lines around my eyes and on my forehead. Start off with this retinol if you have never used retinol before! This will help your skin to get ajust to it! After you finish the bottle move up to the 0.5%! You’ll see a huge difference in your skin whilst using a retinol and the ordinary skincare is a great start. Great price, great value, great product all around!!!!
