I have been using this product for more that a year. I love it! It helps minimize and lightens the skin discoloration. This is good for those who are always out, into sports and other outdoor activities.

If you are serious about sun protection and preserving your skin (like me), get this product. This is not a replacement for sunscreen of course. I like to think of this product as an extra blanket of protection for my skin. There are scientific researches pointing that polypodium leucotomos extracts boost the skin's natural defenses against UV damage. Overall I like this product. I even asked my friends from abroad to get me a few bottles. One friend from the US got me 2 bottles of the US version of Heliocare which has a different packaging and 3 bottles from a friend who lives in Spain, the packaging is the same as this.

This oral sun block is definitely a must have! We must protect our skin from the harmful sun. I used this in Bali when we toured around and it was a big help - together with a sun screen spray. I didn’t get dark at all. Go get it now, you won’t regret it!

I like the fact that this has a higher dosage of fern-block than the regular Heliocare. When we went to the beach a few days ago, I popped one pill the night before, then another pill at 8 am that day, then another pill at 12 noon (coz it says in the instructions to take another dose for prolonged sun exposure). I used sunscreen on my face and arms but I forgot to put sunblock on my nape and back. I stayed under direct exposure in the sun for 15 minutes max, the rest of the day I was under the shade. Maybe it's the extreme reflection of UV light everywhere that caused me to tan a little bit on my face, shoulders and arms. The area where I forgot to put on sunblock, that's where I noticed an obvious tan. Heliocare Ultra will not totally prevent tanning so you really still have to slather sunblock on your skin. The good thing is, although there was tanning, there was no painful and red sunburn. So it's still 4 stars for me.
