A skin care routine not to skip.

First of all I would like to state my skin problem that made me reach out for a serum to address my skin issue. Usually, I dont add serums on my skin care routine but when I read about the importance of serums I was thinking I would really like to try one but what kind of serum should I use. So I have pimple marks on my skin due to skin facials and also breakouts. So I've read that vitamin c serums can help fade the pimple marks and acne marks. I've research a lot of product with vitamin c and since I havent used one before I want to try something (not so expensive). And so I stumble upon Purito and also did a research on their site and decided to buy the product. Now I've been using the product for almost 2 weeks now and in that range I can see changes. Not significantly but I see changes. Its slowly but surely. My skin does not feel so bumpy and it's soft. Some of my milias are gone. Although I did not breakout using this product but I did purge for a week and then the next week its gone. It did lighten my pimple marks especially the small ones and the not so dark pimple marks. I cant skip it because I feel my skin is not conditioned when Im not going to use it, so I always include it in my skincare routine EVERY NIGHT ONLY because Im afraid to use it in the morning because it might react to sunlight and although Im wearing sunscreen I wont risk it. Anyway, Im still almost half way using the serum because a little really goes a long way. I cant say that it worked for me during the first few days of using it considering that I used chemical exfoliant before or products with chemicals. Maybe my skin is still adjusting to it. The smell, texture and color are okay for me as long as it wont break me out or damage my skin more. I also love the packaging because its a pump and you dont have to open it everytime you use it so there will be less of oxygen that will go in the bottle thus making it not to oxidize faster. Overall, I love the product and also its safe on skin, its organic. It really helped my skin issues slowly but surely. I can say that I made the right decision investing on it.

Before this, I've only tried the Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop from Dear Klair's and it did wonders for my skin. However, to continue using vitamin c products, I wanted to find something more affordable and with a higher concentration. Just my luck, the Purito Vitamin C Serum appeared on the 'New Arrivals' page of BeautyMnl. I immediately set out to do research on this brand I'd never heard of: I found that they were relatively new from Korea and the ingredients they used were safe (checked on CosDNA), although I didn't really see any concrete reviews with before and after photos. I bit the bullet and added it to my cart, and it was so worth it :). PACKAGING: I love that the bottle is tinted to avoid light damage; also, it comes with a pump which helps prevent oxidation or bacteria contamination from air exposure. I had a mishap with my Klair's one where it spilled over (it's a dropper bottle) and I lost some product :( but the pump packaging of this Purito one made me feel at ease while using it. I store the serum in its box in the fridge to keep it safe. APPLICATION: It spreads easily on the face and doesn't have an oily texture - rather, it has a sticky feeling that goes away when you keep patting the product in. Your face will feel slightly tighter and you can sense that the product somewhat sits on your skin at first, which doesn't bother me. I wait 20 minutes before using other skincare on top to ensure absorption. If you apply too much of the serum it can ball up under whatever you layer on top, but this can be counteracted by patting the succeeding products in and not rubbing. If you want to add more product, I suggest applying it in thin layers and allow each one to dry a little in between. PRODUCT: the ingredients are very safe. Purito adopts the 10-Free system, as verifiable through sources like CosDNA. Also, you get 60ml of product for Php 850, which is awesome for a vitamin C junkie like me (I use this every night). I experienced no irritation or warming whatsoever with this serum even though its concentration is 10%. PERFORMANCE: this serum takes maybe a week for you to see its effects. I use it at night time only, and the results are faded hyperpigmentation/acne scars. It won't make your skin ultra bright, but it will make your skin more even in a healthier, glowing-from-within kind of way. I feel like with consistent use it has also helped my skin become more resilient against developing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. OVERALL: I love this serum. It's my new holy grail, and I can't wait for it to be restocked cause I'm halfway through my bottle and I'll definitely be buying it again <3

10/10 Would Recommend!

Absolutely love this product! I’ve been meaning to find a Vitamin C serum that is affordable and is the right price for the amount. I was looking at buying Klairs vitamin C but I found the price to be too expensive for the amount you get. Same goes with It’s Skin vitamin C and Csource. But when I found this, even though it didn’t have reviews yet on the site, I decided to go for it. And boooooy was it the best decision ever. I apply it every night after my Ordinary Resveratrol (this pair works well together!) and I wait for it to be a little tacky before I apply other products. The next day, my skin is as smooth as a baby’s bum and I’m glowing like im Mama Mary ascending to heaven. Definitely a must buy!

Helped lighten pimple marks

Please note that I use this in conjunction with Purito's centella buffet serum. I recently had hormonal breakout which left the lower half of my face with dark pimple marks. And being lazy ol' me, I shopped around for different concealer's, instead of addressing the problem itself. So anyway, I got tired of trying to cover up my scars and did some research on how I can help lighten up my pimple marks and bought this Vitamin C serum, being that it is one of the affordable options here in BeautyMNL. I started my Vitamin C + Centella regimen more than a week ago. I apply both twice a day. Take note that using vitamin C during the day can increase skin's photosensitivity so if you will be exposed to sun, please ensure to use a sunscreen. Since I work from home, I can stick to a twice a day routine. From having oily skin, my skin is now more normal, although the perimeters of my face, esp the lower half, has become a bit dry. It was only for a day and because I used a normal wipe instead of cleanser to remove my makeup. Anyway, my face is less oily now. But the best part... My pimple marks have considerably lightened! I cannot wait for my skin to clear up so I can go out bare faced and just use foundations during special occasions :) I'm also experimenting with this serum on some scars I have on my hands from rashes/allergies, and so far, it looks very promising.
