February 27, 2016 ”I owned the Beauty Blender before I bought the Miracle Complexion Sponge, and I wanted to see how it would compare. It is a really great way to apply foundation/concealer, and for much less than the Beauty Blender. I also love the shape of it. The flat edge makes applying foundation a breeze, and the pointed end makes getting under the eyes easy as well. The only downsides I have found are that it doesn’t wash out quite as nicely and it tears more easily than the Beauty Blender, but for the price difference, I don’t mind repurchasing the Miracle Complexion Sponge slightly more often! If you are unsure about getting a sponge to apply your make-up, but I would definitely start with this one!”

”…I’m in love. This sponge is soft. It doesn’t feel like I’m punching myself in face with a foam-like object. My makeup application looks more flawless than ever. I appreciate the shape. It just seems much more functional than others I’ve tried. Plus I like that it’s orange… not that the color matters but it’s still a perk to me.”

Both makeup artists with a passion for beauty, the Chapman siblings spent years creating YouTube makeup videos at a time when vlogging was still new. Their Pixiwoo channel gained a cult following through the years, eventually racking up millions of views. This got them thinking—why not create the perfect tools to help women achieve their perfect beauty looks? Thus, Real Techniques was born.
I love this especially it’s much cheaper than the original beauty blender. They have the same feels, soft and bouncy. It blends my foundation and concealer really well!! The downside tho is that it easily gets teared. I only used mine for 2 months and I can already see that it’s slowly tearing into pieces.about 1 month ago
I so love this sponge that i bought again when my first one got some tear. Maybe i washed it too hard, oops! :D but still love it because it is soft and makes blending a breeze! Love other products from real techniques as well! They're very nice and durable! Worth the price!about 2 months ago
When I am applying liquid foundation on my face I am using this sponge and this is the only thing that I am using to spread the make up on my face. I am making this wet before using it to give that glowing look on my face. This is giving me smooth finish look every time I am going out.3 months ago
This sponge is so easy to use! I’m usually a fingers person when it comes to applying makeup, but it was so easy to transition to this sponge. It makes coverage super even and doesn’t waste product. I especially like the flat end which I use to press on product. I would definitely repurchase this just because of how useful it is!4 months ago
I use my beauty blender for around 3 months. I double cleanse it with oil make up remover and a bar of soap AFTER EVERY USE. (Removes the most stubborn make up stains. I don’t stop cleaning until I see make up on my sponge. After rinsing well, I squeeze out as much water as I can.) When I’m about to dispose it, I cut it in half just to see if mold has formed inside. No matter how much I cut it, I see no mold. I’ve done this to all my beauty blenders. But, it can be a bit pricey to throw out this tool every three months. So, I tried the REAL TECHNIQUES SPONGE. After dampening it with water, it grew a lot bigger than my beauty blender would. Wow! It’s a lot softer and for me I it spread my foundation more evenly. I wash it like I would the beauty blender. But when I wash it, I felt like it was more fragile than the beauty blender. It would have small tears after washing. I would often see my nail marks forever embedded on the sponge. Wear and tear was definitely a lot faster so I decided to dispose of it after using it for only 1 1/2 months. Before putting it in the trash can, I did my usual mold check... huhu! Lo and behold, my sponge had small black spots on it... 🤮🤢🤮 It’s so soft and and nice on the face and it did spread my foundation more evenly BUT it absorbs more make up, more liquid and apparently MORE BACTERIA! No thank you.4 months ago
I use this not only to blend my concealer and to conceal blemishes but also to blend my cream contour. It works well when both dry and damp. Really soft on the skin and easy to use. It’s also easy to clean. However I don’t really use the flat side.4 months ago
