”Maybelline makes some really good mascaras although I generally prefer CoverGirl if I am going the drugstore route. I saw an ad for this mascara and decided to try it. My lashes are medium length and straight. They are also thin and need a lot of oomph. I love dramatic lashes. This mascara has a long curved comb for a brush. It is thin and different from the usual mascara brushes. It isn’t plush at all. The formula is very dark and not too watery. It isn’t messy to apply. One coat does a nice job but three gives me long, thicker lashes that do not clump at all. I don’t really see a “winged effect” but my lashes are fanned out, very dark, and separated. If I curled them, they stay pushed up but do lose a bit of lift when I apply several coats.”
”I slept in this mascara (I know, not a good idea…) and I didn’t wake up with clumps and flakes all over. It stayed on quite well. And it washes off easily with cleanser and water or any eye makeup remover. I do like this mascara. I have some higher end ones I like a bit more but, for the price, this one is good for drama without clumping. You need to get used to the comb brush but, once you do, I think you will see a big difference in the length as well as thickness of your lashes.”
