Experience exceptional brush quality and precision with Real Techniques! This makeup brush brand was founded by sisters Samantha and Nicola Chapman and launched in 2011. Both makeup artists with a passion for beauty, the Chapman siblings spent years creating YouTube makeup videos at a time when vlogging was still new. Their Pixiwoo channel gained a cult following through the years, eventually racking up millions of views. This got them thinking—why not create the perfect tools to help women achieve their perfect beauty looks? Thus, Real Techniques was born.
I use this to deep clean my Real Technique brushes and it leaves them clean and soft and good smelling every single time like its brand new. I noticed, however, that it does not really remove the stain on the brush hairs - but that could just be because of the blush I particularly have is too pigmented. Docking off 1 star because I find it hard to clean beauty sponges with.15 days ago
I love this brush cleanser! It is very gentle on your makeup brushes and surely strips away dirt and oil accumulated. The mild fresh scent is a plus, too, unlike other brush cleansers without scent. I only have to wash my brush twice using this, and leaves my brush soft, like I just bought it from the store!3 months ago
This is from a much-hyped brand so I tried this. Yes, it cleans brushes thoroughly and leaves a nice smell too. But not so with my beauty blenders. You have to wash and rinse them twice or thrice before they are clean. But then you can still see traces of the foundation or any product leftover. Such a waste of money in my opinion. I would rather buy and use the one from suesh which works the same and costs less. Mediocre product!4 months ago
at first,i was kind of hesitant abt splurging on an expensive brush shampoo. come to think of it though, there are far more expensive brush cleansers out there... thus, the price tag on this one's pretty decent. as expected, the formula is perfectly compatible with RT brushes. that said,it doesn't really do anything that a cheaper brush shampoo can't. the liquid smells nice and you only need a tiny amount to remove pigments on your brushes. i hoped that it would prevent the brush hairs from shedding but it didn't though...8 months ago
I bought the bottle after using the sample sachet that came with one of the Real Techniques brush set I purchased. I love how it cleans out the formulas (however pigmented) in just 2-3 repeat washes. For additional deep cleansing, I like to soak my bushes in lukewarm water for 10 mins that use the cleaser wash away whatever makeup formula is on them. Highly recommend trying this out!over 1 year ago
Perfect for cleaning my Real Techniques brushes! The dirt really comes off. My brushes are back to black after cleaning. This cleanser also does not dry out or deform my brushes. A little goes a long way so it makes the the product worth it despite the price. Will definitely repurchase!over 1 year ago
Bonus: they help with breakouts, too!
Same benefits, half the price.
