Vmv hypoallergenics Id anti-acne toner saved my skin!
December 4, 2014
”First off, I have been using products from VMV Hypoallergenics since I was a teenager, when my acne troubles first started. Over the years my skin has settled down to the point where I can manage the breakouts, but every now and then I get really bad breakouts and I always find myself bringing out this toner. It comes in a pretty, dark blue bottle. The astringent itself doesn’t sting or make my skin irritated or red. The instructions are pretty helpful too. They suggest starting out slowly with using this product eventually building up a tolerance to it where you can use it daily. I didn’t experience any purging period and it helped with healing my existent blemishes! Definitely will be a staple product in my skin care regimen!!”

I love love love this product. It is often out of stock though. If left overnight on pimples, visibly lessens imflammation would be seen by morning!! Its cool to touch and cool on the face. It is safe for morning use as a make up base cause they dry in pIace. I love this the most among all vmv products!!about 2 months ago
I use this along with the other products in VMV's Id line. Every after use, I can really see that it has removed the excess dirt on my face because the cotton ball is brown (gross but it feels good!). So far, it's been effective in minimizing my pimples. This toner is a bit drying though. I think there are some strong ingredients here but don't worry, it's hypoallergenic! Just be sure to (1) integrate this in your routine slowly (You should start at 2x a week then move slowly until you reach 2x a day) and (2) ALWAYS (!!!) use moisturizer after.over 1 year ago
I used this when I was having a moderate bout with acne last year. I decided to purchase from VMV despite their products being too pricey because of friends who swear by their effectiveness. Instead of helping me get rid of my pimples though, I ended up breaking out more because the Id Anti-Acne Toner. At first I thought I was just purging and decided to try it for longer, but it turned out to be a wrong decision because it just caused more damage on my skin. I have used other products with similar ingredients (Butylene Glycol, Camellia Sinensis or green tea, Salicylic Acid, Hamamelis Virginiana or witch hazel) which did not irritate or break me out so I'm not sure what exactly in this product was not agreeing with my skin. I eventually was able to clear my acne using BHA and rosehip oil. This was just an expensive blunder... but I'll charge it to experience.over 1 year ago
Nothing to note about this toner. Didn't do anything on my face to make it look better. Okay toner nothing worh the money. You can buy cheaper toners for same effect. Or maybe it just didn't suit my skin well but I don't know.. definitely not going to purchase againover 1 year ago
I've long wanted to try the id line of vmv since a friend recommended it but unfortunately this toner is almost always out of stock. Initially, i was only able to purchase the monolaurin gel from the line and I thought then that it did a great job at keeping my skin from getting oily and getting rid of my pimples, but boy was i surprised when i finally got my hands on this toner. When I used the monolaruin gel by itself, i would still get breakouts on critical days like pre-menstruation or days i have minimal sleep (or for just no apparent reason sometimes to be honest, LOL), but i've noticed that it has lessened since i got the toner. I actually have no pimples right now which is a far cry from my skin pre-vmv. I cannot rave enough about how vmv has helped me with my pimples!! I highly recommend this!!over 1 year ago
I got this as part of the id anti acne set. The toner is mild unlike others, this does not sting at all. I use this not just on acne but on rashes as well as it soothes the itchy feeling. Will i buy it again? Probably not since it's costlier than other toners and outcome is about as same.almost 2 years ago
