This soap from klairs gave me breakouts and small pimples around my cheek area (which I don't usually get one). I guess bar soaps are just prone to bacteria because you only put it in the container compared to those cleansers that are in the bottle. And I also feel that my face gets a little bit of tight when I dry it even though I have oily skin.

This was gifted to me by my sister last Christmas and I have been using it since so I can say for a fact that this is the bomb! I expected this to be drying but it actually didn’t leave a squeaky clean feeling and makes my face kinda smooth and clean! Love this and will always always repurchase this !

I think when it comes to moisturizing cleansers this is the best one yet. It keeps you skin soft and smooth without making it too oily. It does have a mild and lovely scent though I much prefer my skin care to be unscented. The problem I had with this soap is that it broke me out a bit. While the pimples are small and few, I'd still prefer to never have them again. I don't know if it's the essential oil or the tiny beads on the soap (probably for exfoliation) but something on it is not agreeing with my skin. It has been almost a month and I think that's beyond the purging stage. I will still use the soap but only 1x a day. I'll use a different cleanser at night just to minimize the irritation, possibly stop it. Probably won't repurchase.

Yes, this one cleanse and hydrate but given the brand- Dear Klairs, do not expect too much from this bar soap. It's good though. Just good but not the best hydrating cleanser I have ever tried. The scent is mild and fine. I like that Dear Klairs considers bar facial soap in carton packaging.
