Hello Gorgeous! first began in 1998 as Skinline, a day spa in Hagonoy, Bulacan that offered facial and body care treatments. Using homemade products as alternatives to traditional cosmetics and body care, Skinline became the first and only specialty personal care concept of its kind in the area. In 2016, the Day Spa then branched out into Skinline Essentials, offering the clinic’s bestselling products to a wider customer base. Faced with Skinline Essentials’ steady growth and appeal to hip, young, adventurous ladies, the minds behind the brand decided they needed their own makeover. You can now enjoy their Filipina-friendly products under the beauty brand Hello, Gorgeous!
I used it the day after I got the package which was yesterday, so this is day 2. I has the consistency that I was looking for. I was prescribed by my dermatologist a sunscreen gel with the same consistency and spf but that one is too expensive for a tiny tube. This one's a good alternative only that you would need to put a little more effort. You have to follow the instructions on how to apply and really work on spreading all those white clumps all over your face as the gel gets quickly absorbed by your skin and the white clumps of powder will be left on your face. Don't put too much as there will be white cast. When the gel dries, it'll have a smooth, powdery finish which I like and it's not sticky. I didn't get any break outs, it's not sticky when I sweat, my face did not get oily and it provides good sun protection. My only gripe is the tub. It'll be more convenient if it's in a tube or pump bottle to avoid contamination and less product waste due to over dipping or the leaks at the side of the screw of the lid - I bring this everyday in my bag that's why I have the problem. Otherwise, the product itself is good. Perfect for combination to oily skin types.2 months ago
I'll start off by saying I have combination skin, this product is catered to those with more oily skin and I know why, if you apply this to normal-dry skin it hard to spread out, it goes on sticky and leaves white flakes all over your skin that ends up drying up your skin even more. If your skin isn't greasy, this could still work for you with a layer of a heavy moisturizer first or a facial oil, that's how I've been using this, I bough a moisturizer that was too heavy and this absorbs that so it leaves a lightweight finish.3 months ago
I have been on the look out for a great yet affordable sunscreen that is non greasy and perfect for the humid weather. I have a very oily skin so when I tried this, I really liked the feel on my skin. It is a combination of gel and cream like consistency. At first I was put-off with the blob like texture compared to their cream variant. But when I put it on my skin, it is easily absorbed and has a cooling effect which is perfect for the humid weather. Like most gel like creams, this doesn't really mattify the skin but it doesn't feel greasy. It is a great sun protection prior to putting on your foundation. It doesn't have any white cast. The amount of product, its effectiveness plus the affordable price makes this one a perfect steal. It's also another great local product to try!5 months ago
