It's okay but it doesn't smell that pleasant
I was looking for a cruelty-free and local facial toner that can also control my oily skin, so I tried this. This is also one of the first products I've tried from this brand. They look like a fun girly brand so I was excited to try one of their products. The first time I tried it, I used it was a compressed face mask where you'll have to soak it with a toner for it to expand. I had no issues with my past toner with the compressed face mask, but the fumes of this one hurt my eyes! and my cheeks also stung for some reason. At first I thought it was the mix of the toner and the face mask and I was hoping the feeling and the smell were going to go away after a while but I couldn't stand it at all! I had to take it out asap 'cause I thought I might have an allergic reaction to it. The next night, I used it only on its own. But it really did not smell nice! I tried to to use it on just one side of my face first in case I was allergic to it. After a few weeks, I started to get small bumps on the side of my face where I would use the toner. But I read that it was my face adjusting to the product. Eventually, I started to use the product on my whole face, it still doesn't smell that great but I make sure to shake the bottle before I use it. I feel it lessens the smell. Overall, it takes out my make up from my face well and my face feels smoother and softer. but I really cannot stand the smell! I'll probably buy this again IF I can't find a different cruelty-free/local toner that works as good as this. The scent is a big issue for me here.
