It’s vegan so it must be good, right? Well, I thought wrong. I bought this last January and I’m still using it for the sake of finally being done with it. The Pros are: it smells nice, it’s vegan, and it’s great to use for the face as well. Cons: it gives off a white cast, it’s very liquid-y (causing me to spill some of the product when I first used it), it builds up in the creases of your skin as it’s not moisturising enough, it does not really work in regards with the SPF (i believe it’s because it washes off with sweat) and lastly, for that price: it comes in quite a cheap container. A bummer, right? I definitely feel ripped off and am greatly disappointed.about 1 month ago
Been using it for two weeks during commute
> Can be used on the face. At least my type of face. I rarely get breakouts from this.
> Helps conceal blemishes with its thick powdery consistency. Little need to apply makeup as a result.
> It looks like it can even out my skin tone. Hello sleeveless tops!
> Powdery, not oily. Gives my skin a matte finish. My type of sun block.
> Does not make my skin look old, unlike the sunblocks commercially available in drug stores.
> Good for teens and children too. My sisters’ skins improved. Considering that they had to attend pubic schools and be under the sun for inordinate amounts of time, they don’t suffer sunburns anymore. The skin tone on their forehead improved and became more even with their faces, because our other beauty products had the chance to work on their faces without the sun ruining it for them.
I've been trying to use natural products and this is my second organic sunscreen. My first sunscreen gave me super dry skin and dry flakes patches, but this one didn't. I was so excited because it has SPF 100 and there's a bonus treatment that will brighten your skin. I immediately bought it even though it's really pricey. It's true that it will brighten your skin instantly but i'm having a hard time spreading this lotion on my skin. I also used this on my face and you don't need concealer or foundation anymore with this and didn't break me out. It smells so good and it has like a powder finish. I will give this 5 stars if it's spreadable! But i still like it.over 1 year ago
Last summer, I was looking for a reliable sunblock that also worked as a skin brightener. I bought this product because it was on sale and wow it has SPF 100! I've tried several Lumiere products before so I knew that the quality would be top notch. I love the fact that this product is organic and very light on the skin--not like other sunblocks that are thick and sticky. This is very silky smooth and instantly brightens the skin. I use this product every time I go out of the house. A little goes a long way. I purchased this product last April and it's already been 4 months and I think it will last for another month or two. So at first the price may be too high but seeing as I have been using it quite frequently, the price seems very cost efficient. This is definitely now one of my must-haves for the summer. PS. This is not to say that I stop using sunblock after summer because we should all be using sunblock year-round. But I have a regular, less expensive sun block that I use. it's just that I think during the summer, your sunblock should be extra powerfulabout 2 years ago
