Healthy alternative to rice. I cooked it using a rice cooker 1 cup then 2 water using the proportion of 1:2. I like it fluffier and denser makes me full and give me energy also which so great! I usually eat this before hitting the gym weird but gives me extra boost!about 2 months ago
Like most Filipinos i almost always eat rice during meals. Quinoa is a good alternate to rice and you don't need much of it. It's soft and fluffy and is neutral in taste, similar to rice. However, it is significantly expensive compared to rice and i think that's the limitation. But for those who can buy it, it's worth a try.3 months ago

At the start, I had no idea about how to prepare it, even if I've read more than enough about its health benefits. What I didn't reckon with was the flavor--which I enjoy! A great and more flavorful substitute for rice. I drizzle it with olive oil and take it with my dinner salad. Great with honey, too! Busog ka na, without filling bloated!
