This has been my night cream for years now as it keeps my skin clear. Whenever I get zits, i just apply this more generously than I usually do, and in a couple of days they are gone. This is really a trusted brand of mine!
Before using this, my skin has been extra dry and flaky because of the intense summer heat. After about a month, it really hydrated my skin and made it dewy. It looks a lot smoother too! The scent of the products is something that I particularly like too. It smells like only the good stuff was mixed together—herby with a hint of muskiness. Although the cream is thick, it absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. You kind of feel like a cool layer coating your skin too but it goes away after a while. It doesn’t feel greasy after application but I still recommend using it at night if your skin type is on the oilier side like me. I usually gravitate towards gel-type moisturizers over creams but the pros outweigh the cons for this one. I highly recommend it especially if you’re switching to having a clean skincare routine!
It is way too fragrant for me. It’s not overwhelming, it smells very “botanical”. Consistency wise, it is thick enough as a moisturizer. The thing i don’t like about this is that it’s very oily. I already have oily skin and the last thing i want is my moisturizer making me more greasy. It make’s me uncomfortable. I would recommend this to those with dry skin and to those who like natural ingredients in their routine.
I started using wildleaf products when it was a hype back then and it worked okay for me for about 3 consecutive months. Unfortunately, I experienced a few red bumps and itchiness along the way of those 3 months and just held on to using the hibiscus face cream afterwards. My face turned supple in only a matter of time and I eventually had to try something else less pricey but with a more promising effect.
