Pretty! (for a day)
I was attracted to this product because it was organic and "10 free", so it doesn't have harmful chemicals present in most nail polishes. Too bad my expectations of the product were a little too high. First of all, application is kind of difficult, because it gets goopy pretty quickly. I've found the technique to applying this nail polish is to completely close the bottle between coats and waiting a couple minutes, making sure no air gets into the polish. The shade I have is in red creme, and it takes two coats for it to look completely red and shiny. Chipping is pretty bad with this one, because it only takes a day for this stuff to start getting destroyed. I guess you can avoid chipping if you decide to stop using your hands completely for a day. I used an Orly top and bottom coat so that might have made a difference, but a friend of mine who used the exact same color with the Happy Skin mirror-shine top coat found that it didn't help with chipping either. I hope they improve the formula, because it looks really pretty! I want the best of both worlds from my organic nail polishes.
