It's a bit too much
I dont consider my skin sensitive, but it is a very high maintenance thing. Acne is my #1 problem over the past 5 years, acne scars are second. Vitamin c is the best way to go, at least, according to the internet. So I thought, why not this? My skin isnt a stranger to acids. But two weeks into usage (every 2 nights), I started to notice some changes. PIH marks are starting to fade and the overall texture is improving. So I happily continued for 2 more weeks, and thennn things just started to go downhill. The first red flag was my face becoming a little too shiny (not oily, just the skin surface is veeeery reflective). I should've stopped there but yeah I didnt. Next came the little bumps, which then grew into pimples - red angry pimples. No matter what I did they kept coming. At first I refused to believe the vitamin c serum was the culprit, but after reading about overexfoliation the bottle was officially out of my vanity.
I did use other 20 something percent serums before, and while they didnt give any bad reaction I didnt see postive results either. Might as well go back to my trusty Nacific phyto essence.
