Boost your skincare regimen the right way
Being an oily-skinned gal who breaks out at the slightest of irritations, of course I'd avoid any sort of oil into my regimen (even cleansing oils because I'm that much of a scare-dy cat after a particularly horrible experience with Biore's oil cleanser). Using facial oils was considered a fad for a while, but I've been reading some reviews which back up their claims with 'scientific' (taking it loosely here) evidence. So, I decided to try it out - starting with grapeseed oil because it's thought to help with oiliness and acne. To start, I incorporated it slowly and gradually into my routine. Once a week at first then twice a week, I mix 2 drops of oil with my night moisturizer. Thus far, I've been happy with the results. It absorbs into the skin quite well, and so far, it hasn't caused unsolicited breakouts. I've only been using it for around 3 weeks so I've yet to see significant results. Just, thus far, the experience wasn't too bad.
