This brand's single brushes are wayyyy better quality than their brush sets
I once bought a brush set from brush works, and it was the same price as this single brush. I don't know why I expected quality but half of the brushes from that set were (unsurprisingly) breakable, scratchy, and hardly usable. This brush, however, is really nice. The handle is a bit fat and the bristles form a thick, straight line so it's not for every kind of powder product, but it's really good for drawing contour lines and the dense fluffiness makes it possible to blend out those lines as well (I sweep my contour powder up after I've sculpted the line so that it blends into my other cheek powders). The ferrule is sturdy and I haven't experienced shedding yet, and it fulfills a function that none of my other brushes do so I'm very happy with this purchase. I don't know if this is a happy exception, or if all brush works single brushes are this much better than their brush set brushes. The quality difference is just crazy.
