BOMB … MUST HAVE FOR GORGEOUS LIPS!!!
September 22, 2017
”This really is an amazing product. Mattifies your lip and leave a smooth base for lipstick/pencil application. I never apply lipstick without it; you’ll notice a complete difference when you do. I use this after scrubbing my lips with the ‘Summer Berry Lip Scrubtious’ (another great product from MAC). Absolutely amazing finish. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.”

WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE!?
August 7, 2017
”I have never been a fan of lip color, I always thought it looked cakey and brought out all the lines and creases in my lips. I would find myself wiping everything off about 10 minutes after daring to put any color on. However, after seeing the amazing results one of my friends had with this, I decided to give it a try and now I am a believer! This stuff fuses color to your lips without making it feel heavy. No lines, no pockets of flaky color hours later and everything stays where you put it. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!”

MAC

MAC began in Toronto, Canada when makeup artist and photographer Frank Toskan and salon owner Frank Angelo decided to come up with cosmetics that photographed well. They started creating their concoctions from their kitchen and sold them to other professional artists, models, and photographers. Their word-of-mouth popularity grew and the duo launched M·A·C in March 1984 from a counter in a Toronto department store manned by makeup artists. MAC sold in black pots and came in a wide range of shades that established the brand as the ultimate color authority. Today, MAC is a leading professional makeup authority, and have even featured collaborations with Rihanna, Lorde, Proenza Schouler, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Brooke Shields. A must have!!!

I've never heard of primer for the lips until I've stumbled on this one! It's my first time to use it and now, it has become an essential part of my makeup routine. It works well with any type of lipstick especially for matte ones. My lips tends to chap and when using matte lipsticks, it is very evident. But when I started priming my lips, it reduced the chapping and my matte lipstick stays on... like forever! Definitely a must have!

A Must Need for Lipstick Lovers

One thing I've learned with doing make-up is that you always prime! I'm an avid lipstick user and I've used a variety of different forms. I've been using this product for more than 2 years now and it greatly helps with the color and longevity of the application. It's worth an investment for someone who uses lipsticks every day. However, you need to remember that this is just a primer and not an alternative to lip balms! Their purpose is for your lips to smoothen out and be ready for the formulas of lipsticks; as it says in their fast facts. I recommend exfoliation, lip balm, lip primer, lip liner, and lipstick as your go-to process with 30 seconds in between just to give time in setting everything.

Gimmicky

This product for me is just too gimmicky. The traditional way of priming the lips still works better. I really think it's just lip wax/balm with the standard vanilla scent of a Mac lipstick. You can always purchase a new lip color instead of this product, since the price is the same.

Moisturizing but not so long-lasting

I bought this upon the recommendation of the MUA at a MAC counter. Since I was buying a matte lipstick from them, they recommended I use this as a base to moisturize the lips and to make the lipstick last longer. In my experience, it's definitely effective in moisturizing (and retaining moisture all day) but I see no difference so far in the wearing time of my lippie. I've yet to see and compare how much more effective this is compared to a really good lip balm, because it's a bit too pricey for the same effect in my opinion.

Favorite lip primer!

I purchased mine in the states since MAC products are way cheaper there, and I love it!!! I love this colorless lip primer so much especially its scent which is so addicting! I use this before applying any lipstick, especially matte lipsticks, since this product prevents my lips from drying up and chapping. This is definitely a must-have especially for those who are fond of using matte lipsticks! It may be quite expensive but MAC lives up to its name and provides our lips with the best kind of care it needs 😉

Incredibly Overpriced Lipbalm

You are better off buying Chapstick or Carmex than this. At least those two nourish and prime your lips before lipstick, but this one feels too waxy and fake, like putting plastic on your lips. It doesn't help that it costs a fortune for glorified lipbalm, too. Save your money and buy drugstore lipbalm for a fraction of the price.
