”I’ve used other brands for primer, and for every single primer I’ve purchased, they have made me break out constantly. This primer is a whole other ball game. It keeps my skin looking matte, without breakouts! I have sensitive skin + very dry skin. I will not stop using this product. It works amazing, and for the price, you really can’t go wrong. Highly suggest trying this product out!”

”This primer is sooo affordable and works amazing for it’s price point. Makeup really does adhere to it. Plus it has a slight blurring effect on my skin. I had to dock a star off though because this is the only primer I have tried that has ever pilled up on me. Even after trying to leave it longer before applying foundation and trying different ways to apply it. But for the price and quality, it’s something I can deal with.”

I asked my friend which primer would work not just as a make up base but also as a moisturizer and she recommended me this product. Best one i've tried!! Back then i was always scared of putting on make up bc of its chemicals but this helped me a lot!!

Paired it with Milani setting spray and after a week and a half, I had comedones on my forehead *crying*. I like the feel of it on my face and how it makes my makeup last mlre than it should be. Investigating pa on what really caused my breakouts. I hope it isn't the primer.

Does the job!

I’m not really a fan of primer as I don’t like the texture of it on my skin however whenever I do wear it I use this one and it does the job. The ordinary products are really good and I would choose this primer over any other one. It’s very inexpensive and would recommend for dry skin as it wouldn’t help oily skin.

It’s okay.

It’s okay. I don’t really see that it minimises my pores or whatever. I guess it just helps make my makeup last longer although I haven’t tested it out for 12 hours but I will say it made my makeup last long for 6 hours! It’s an okay primer. I don’t see myself reaching for it everyday though.

A nice starter for makeup priming for non-makeup customers

First product I bought here in Beauty MNL. I've heard a lot buzz about The Ordinary. Being often called as the brand of "Democracy". It's weird though that my first purchase from them is a Primer. Since I'm practically laden with Dermatologist recommended skincare products, I kind of curb my interest on trying supplemental active ingredients. I was looking for something that gives the matte feel but doesn't technically target serious skin problems. So I found the Adherence Silicone Primer which, honestly, it does the job. I wear use it under my tinted SPF (or a BB cream for that matter), so I could have the non-greasy feel and look before layering an additional blurring cream to lessen the appearance of blemishes. However on its own I cannot really say it does the "blurring" job. But overall, TO's primer is a good starter. I know some even says that Primers are not necessary, which I kind of agree now that I tried one. Not wasting this though. Will rebuy it? No. But was it a good product? Yes. Can I recommend it? For people who are geared mostly on make-up stuff (not entirely if my opinion matters because I'm definitely not a make-up enthusiast) I'd say it "primes" you skin quite well. Giving that smooth finish so that you could begin applying cosmetic stuffs without much of a problem. Given my experience on it's "mattifying" finish, I guess it works well since one would have to apply make-up before oil builds up on your face and I'm an oily skin type. I could at least attest to that. But to each is his/her own. It works for me. 4/5
