”I’ve used other brands for primer, and for every single primer I’ve purchased, they have made me break out constantly. This primer is a whole other ball game. It keeps my skin looking matte, without breakouts! I have sensitive skin + very dry skin. I will not stop using this product. It works amazing, and for the price, you really can’t go wrong. Highly suggest trying this product out!”

”This primer is sooo affordable and works amazing for it’s price point. Makeup really does adhere to it. Plus it has a slight blurring effect on my skin. I had to dock a star off though because this is the only primer I have tried that has ever pilled up on me. Even after trying to leave it longer before applying foundation and trying different ways to apply it. But for the price and quality, it’s something I can deal with.”

This is a HIT!

I've seen mixed reviews about this product on YouTube, but was pleased with the results of this product on my skin. The texture and application was really smooth, nice, and it did stood up to the "High Adherence" claim and was happy that my foundation & powder stayed put for the rest of the day.

Good and worth it

I have been switching to cruelty-free brands for the past few months. I bought this product because of it, and I wanted an affordable product. I have been using this product for the past 2 few months and so far, so good. It's good for makeup prep and no skin iritations came out from using it.

Such an underrated product!!!

I don't understand why beauty influencers hate this product-it's great, especially for people who are beginners at makeup or just for on-the-go everyday glam! Yes, this might not work well with liquid or cream foundations BUT this works wonders for powder/mineral foundations!!! It makes you look fresh and matte all day but NEVER dry, cakey or powdery (and I have really dry skin that I cannot wear liquid foundations bc they cling to my dry patches and makes me look flaky). Although they most powder foundations only go up to medium coverage and they're not as buildable as liquids/creams, I prefer them on the daily bc they allow my skin to breathe and they don't clog my pores as much. I never had irritation or congestion problems using this primer with my other go to products. It's really fast and convenient, too. After the last step in my morning skin care routine w/c is SPF, I just slap this on all over the face, apply Maybelline Clear Smooth all-in-one powder, bronze with Hoola Lite, blush w/ Milani Luminoso, apply Lash Sensational mascara and a lip balm, BOOM! Out the door in literally 5 mins! It stays budge-proof and I don't even have to use setting spray yet I don't have to retouch my base at all the whole day. Plus, it's really affordable!

Affordable & good product!

- Light on the skin
- Helped blur pores
- Didn't break me out (I have very sensitive skin)
- Noticed that I only blot my oil after 9 hours and the makeup is still intact
- Inexpensive & very affordable

- It was a bit difficult to use the 1st few days so make sure you use a little product only (a little goes a long way) or else it will patch up your foundation.
- It smelled weird, but I think it was the silicone.

Hmmm... on the fence. A generous though noncommittal 4. Leaning more toward 3 or 3.5.

1. Doesn't break me out (pat it on and spread with a light hand and even strokes, don't rub it in)
2. Provides a smooth even canvas for foundation
3. A little goes a long way

The Meh
1. Did this prolong the wear of my makeup? I'm not sure. Other factors were involved when I achieved impressive results: primed with Rose Oil and Glycerin water (aka setting spray -- followed your advice BMNL, thanks) and baked with RCMA No Color Powder. Perfect. Took nearly 8 hours before I needed to blot, and lightly at that. Tried the High Adherence Silicone primer sans these two products -- my foundation started breaking apart by hour 3.
2. "Shrug" on the oil control as well.

Con/s? (It's relative, really. I don't really mind it but others might.)

Not for oily gals

I know silicone has a tendency to blur out pores, and since I have a couple of pores around my chin area I decided to give it a try. For the most part, I have oily combination skin, and I don't think primers do something for me. I have tried a lot of high end primers and I still haven't found the one that really works for me. This has a very funky smell, I don't know if that's because of the silicone content in it. But it really smells like a glue. The consistency is creamy and thick. As for priming the face, I don't think that it provides longevity on the wear of my foundations. It breaks my foundation after a 4 hour mark. Maybe for a normal skin type this might work but not for oily girls out there.
