Moisturizing, nicely pigmented, a tad too minty
So, I've been eyeing this for a while now, I've been waffling between picking Peach Mint and Fudge Mint. It's so hard because there are so few lip swatches of this product online. Based on pictures though, Peach seems to be that kind of too-light "nude" that washes out medium-skinned girls like me, so I went with Fudge. It's a lovely wine-brown color. It's also fairly pigmented, covering up my pigmented lips, considering that it's just a lip oil. As with most Cloud Cosmetics products, you get a decent amount of product for the price, which is always a plus. The down side I guess is how strong the mintiness is. I should have expected as much given their "it feels like I just brushed my teeth" HMLR. I have eczema and minty lip products can trigger it, but this hasn't so far. This is really nice and moisturizing for those times when you can't be bothered with the whole lip-prepping process needed for matte lipstick. This is definitely a put-on-and-go kind of product, which I love. As for longevity, it's actually not that bad. Better than most lip glosses. You can eat a snack or drink coffee (transfers like crazy, of course) and you can just smack your lips to redistribute the color. After a full meal, it leaves a light stain. I'm hoping they add more colors to this line.
