”I actually was really surprised by its moisturizing effects. I bought it mainly for brightening and scar fading, so didn’t expect too much about the texture or whether it hydrates my skin or not. I was just going to use it as a serum. I’m currently using Retin-A at night so my used-to-be combination skin becomes dry skin overall. The first time I used it in the morning, I apply toner, Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%, then this MAP. I thought I need to lay one more layer of moisturizer, but no, my skin already felt so moist and plump. I can just put on some sunscreen and head out. I’m pleasantly surprised. This becomes my daily morning routine. Btw, it also goes well with makeup, whether it be BB cream or foundation.”

Not oily!

Very gentle and no sting feeling. Not oily but very moisturizing to the skin. The scent tho, is kinda nutty but it's tolerable. 😉 there's really a reason why it is always sold out. 😁 still giving this a 5 star despite the small size and the scent. 😊 😊 😊 😊

Mixed feelings

I have used vitamin c serums before with higher percentage, and they worked for me (esp my hg TIAM My Signature C Source). But what I hate is that it oxidizes immediately, so I tried this one because it's stable, from The Ordinary, and is highly recommended by Liah Yoo, the downside is it has lower vit c percentage. I've been using this in my morning routine for almost a month now, and what I liked is it is moisturizing enough that I can apply my sunscreen next, and it gives subtle glow on my face. In terms of fading acne scars, I haven't seen significant changes, and I also don't know if it is the culprit for the small bumps in my jawline. But overall, this is a good product.

O K

Because I tried this, I realized that I preferred Vitamin Cs in l-ascorbyl formulas. Or basically the serum type than the cream type. I love The Ordinary, but I wasn’t getting the brightening effect I was expecting from a Vitamin C with this one. Still, this was good enough and worth the try.

Not greasy!

This product is amazing!!!! With the use of it my skin became softer and more luminous and help a lot with my dullness. I love the ordinary’s proposal, simple formulas with affordable prices. This is the only moisturizer and really the only line of skin I have found to work as it is supposed to and not cause break outs. I love it so much. It is light, comfortable and not greasy at all.

Love it!

I so love this! This is the only vitamin c that never irritates my sensitive skin. And it’s so moisturizing, I don’t have to use a separate moisturizer. I used to have a combination skin, but after months of using it I think i have now a normal skin 😍 Definitely going to repurchase!

COMEDOGENIC

Girls with sensitive and acne prone skin, avoid this! I know that Liah Yoo recommended this but do not believe her because this has coconut alkanes and is known to be comedogenic which means that it is pore clogging. This is a more stable vitamin c derivative but instead of brightening your pimple scars, this will give you new pimples that you will need to erase.
