i have sensitive skin so when i tried it, my skin git irritated. but i was new to exfoliating back then, did not know about where to begin and what products. but may be idf you're used to exfoliating, this might work for you. it's a physical and chemical exfoliator in one.
I've always been curious about Pixi products. But I had to wait for some time in order to give a very honest review. Just as the title suggests, I swear, throw away those harsh creams with exfo beads. You won't need them. I only use this like once a week or once in two weeks. But my skin looks fab and it's as young as it can ever get.
I love how simple the application is. I have always been a lover of chemical peels and it pays to have this Peel and Polish by Pixi at home. Cause with this whole lockdown, nobody really has the luxury to go to our derma. I suggest and highly encourage y'all to grab a tube and see for yourself. :)
THIS PRODUCT CHANGED MY SKIN CARE ROUTINE. We recently started selling Pixi at my Shoppers Drug Mart so I picked this guy up. It was $42 which is a little much but I had never used a peel before and this one seemed like it would be great. The ingredients locked good, it came with a fair amount of product, and it seemed easy to use. You just put this product onto your face like a mask, you can rub it in in circular motions to get an extra little peel and then the food enzymes help to break down the dead skin on your face. After three minutes you wash it off and your face feels as smooth as a baby's butt. This is my holy grail. It works amazingly with the products I use as part of my skin care routine. I recommend using this twice a week to have your skin feeling smooth and soft.
So I once tried this on pixi's mini kit (includes small peel and polish, toner and rose balm) and of the three items this is my fave. When I finished the mini kit, I went on to buy the full size. When I use it, I just put a small amount, leave it on for 2 mins then scrub lightly (dont scrub too much!). And when I rinse it and pat yourself dry, you can actually feel how smooth and supple your skin is. This is best paired with the pixi glycolic toner and cleanser. They helped me clear my dark spots and hyperpigmentation and you can really feel your skin glow (it took me 2-3 months btw). It does say you use it for 2-3 times a week, but for me I use it as my everyday exfoliator and still my face didn't dry and I didn't have breakouts (note though, that the everyday use might not be for everyone).
