Not as transfer-proof as advertised, but still a great product!
I got this product in the shade "Red Queen." I was really excited to try it because it was lauded as transfer-proof once dry. My essential issue is that it didn't really deliver in terms of that promise. I've worn it for two days now, and the first day I just did as instructed: apply the emulsion, then slick the gel on top and let it dry. I ran into my first problem there--it takes an *incredibly long time* for it to dry. I clocked it at half an hour before my lips were dry. It looked great and it felt like nothing on my lips, which is a huge point in its favor. However, as soon as I got my first cup of coffee about an hour later, there was the stain on the lip of my mug. The next day, I decided to do it different and apply the emulsion, let it dry, then apply the gel and let it dry--maybe letting the emulsion dry first would help the staying power. To be fair, it did stay on longer this time--except it took the emulsion alone fifteen minutes to dry and another half hour before the gel dried. Because I was curious, I deferred any drinks or food until near lunch time and the product looked great. But as soon as I took a drink of water, there was the transfer on my glass! Not a lot, but enough for me to feel disappointed. On the plus side, it doesn't dry out your lips like a lot of other long-wearing stains or tints, and the emulsion alone (without the gel) is really pretty in this shade. But if you're looking for something that will last through *water* at the very least, look elsewhere.
