Giving it 4 stars because of the pump.

I was in search of a sunblock that is in gel form because I don't like sticky and thick sunblocks. When I saw this on sale I bought it. It was not a gel. It looks more like a runny lotion. I was hesitant to try it. When I tried it the pump squirted out the product. It was so messy. I've been using it for 3-4mos now and I've learned to control the pump. I like it because its not sticky and it is easily absorbed by the skin. My skin feels hydrated and plump after application. And I can apply makeup over it. I still have 1 back up bottle and will continue to use it.

The first of all Sunblock that ive tried that...

we all need sunblock. In my quest to complete my 10- step affordable korean beauty routine , i browsed for step 10: sun block. I do not like sunblock because theyre sticky and heavy. I can t really rate the sun protection effect but it sits on my face really well. With that nice mattifying effect. Its not oily but is a bit tricky to apply. Pat the product gently on your face as swiping it can be very stressful. I agree with the other comment its not gel, it's creamy (white) but with a thin consistency. I still love it. Its still the first of all sunblock brands that did not bother me. PS, the packaging of this brand is really not appealing. PLease consider that.

I'm not sure why I bought this??

It was on sale and I was weak and in search of a more affordable sunblock option. When I received the product, the label on the packaging threw me off a bit but I dismissed it as me just judging a book by its cover. However, when I tried pumping the product out it simply wouldn't dispense. I tried shaking the bottle first, and I think that worked but when I tried to pump the product out again it just flew right out of the nozzle to who knows where. So it dispenses VERY VERY messily. I then tried applying it on skin - it looked like oil being dropped into water. The very runny formula started separating, and I remember thinking to myself I had never seen a sunblock do that ever? What was worse was when I tried rubbing it into my arm, two things happened: 1) to my horror, the product started pilling, or turning into a fine white dust that fell off my skin, and 2) most of the sunblock stuck to my fingers in a sticky, powdery form. I tried it out a few more times under different circumstances like dispensing a little at a time and patting it in instead of rubbing it, but the results all ended up the same -- unsatisfying. I tried it out on my face, and apart from the unattractive white cast (more like white mask), it also pilled on my face. Some of the product that didn't pill on my face dried up too quickly, forming a white paste that was a little difficult to remove. All in all, this is a wildly disappointing product, which saddens me because I wanted so badly to like it, what with it being an affordable option, a local brand, and having stellar ingredients in its list like Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid. Sad all around :(

For the price, it's okay.

What I like about this product is the pump. The product itself is very runny so the pump does help a lot with application. It's less messy. It has a slight scent that's not too over-powering and it didn't bother me at all. I don't like the white cast that it leaves but all other sunblock I tried have this as well. I also don't like how it is called a sunblock gel when really it's like a water with some products on it. The good thing about this though, is that I didn't experience any breakouts and it didn't make my skin more oily. Overall, i'll keep looking for a much better sunblock. It's not the best but for the price point I think it's okay.
