Lush Beach Locks in a Bottle
This one was somewhat of a blind buy for me when I was looking for texturizing hair sprays. The product looked cool with its minimalist aesthetic and all natural ingredients so I tossed it into my cart, not thinking much of it. Boy, what a sweet surprise it truly was when I tried it out for the first time. Off the bat, I found it very moisturizing despite it being a sea salt spray (I daresay the formula is even better than cult fave Beach Born's Sea Salt Spray, Snoe's Superfresh spray and Bumble and Bumble's version). It feels a little bit more goopy and less liquidy than most sea salt sprays. The scent is rather unusual and might be a hit or miss for others but for me, it reminds me of my parents' home in the province (it DEFINITELY smells of freshly bloomed ylang ylang which I find quite comforting). The scent is not overpowering though and what's great about it is that it smells really natural. In terms of wave holding abilities, I would say this spray performs relatively better than all the others I've tried since it does not make my hair crunchy and stiff at all. I doesn't hold as much for long though since it's more moisturizing however, it does give the appearance of lovely, lush wavy locks. My only con (hence one star off) with this is the packaging. Since it's made of glass it is a bit of a hassle to lug around. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend this spray for anyone craving soft, healthy and natural looking and fragrant waves!
