I alternate between using this as an all-over face cream (when my skin feels super irritated everywhere) and a spot treatment when I just have a few breakouts. As a spot treatment, it helps calm red or irritated areas and I noticed that my pimples seem to heal faster when I apply this consistently. When I feel like I’m about to have a breakout, I apply this over the area and it seems to stop it in its tracks—which is amazing. As a face cream or moisturizer, I honestly expected it to be cooling, but it’s not; just generally soothing. I do need to use a lot of it at once if I want my skin to feel supple and hydrated by morning, since (for me) it’s a bit on the thinner side for a cream. Dear Klairs has a few other moisturizers that I like better for long-lasting hydration (the Rich Moist Soothing Cream and Fundamental Water Gel Cream are my favorites!), but this truly shines as a spot treatment. It doesn’t dry out my spotty areas like some treatments do, while still giving me the calming results I’m after.
I thought this would work for me because of the reviews but ended up giving me rashes together with the vitamin c serum. A very unexpected effect but im thinking of giving it a second chance…. Kind of disappointed because its not cheap and that i might not be able to finish the whole thing
I bought this since I heard of its good reviews but after trying it for a few months, my face is still dry and rough to the touch. It's not effective compared to their other moisturizer. I don't think it's a bad moisturizer. It's probably not effective due to my skin type.
Midnight blue cream works best for me if coupled with midnight blue youth activating drop. The velvetty texture of this literally blue cream feels divine on my face especially when i use it cold and fresh from the fridge. I like Klairs products! They are cheaper than other popular beauty stuffs, though equally effective. Im glad they are pretty accessible from Beauty mla. I use it in alternate with my other regimen ❤
