I was looking for an affordable lipstick that’s good for everday use and I was happy because I managed to buy this on a b1t1 promo but, sadly, I’m not satisfied with this product. Yes, the pigment is great and all but I’m not really a big fan of it’s strong vanilla scent. The packaging also feels cheap. I barely used this ever since I got it so I would probably give them away to those who aren’t sensitive with scents.16 days ago
It's a good lipstick, nice pigments. It really complements the tan/morena skin as well as the lighter, yellow-undertoned chinita skin. I fall somewhere in between. Matte but does not last as long as liquid lipsticks. My main problem was with the plastic tube that looks and feels absolutely cheap. Reminds me of a matte-coated microwavable plastic container. I hope they improve on that.22 days ago
I've been a fan of Pink Sugar lippies since I first tried Creamy Matte, and there was a B1G1 promo going on, so I decided to try this too. The horror stories about the flimsy casing worried me at first, but I figured it wouldn't hurt me so much if it broke cuz I'm getting 2 for the price of 1 anyway lol. But! While the packaging was indeed a bit lightweight, it had a click lock mechanism which made sure it wouldn't twist open while in your bag. As for the lipstick itself—wow. Nice smooth formula that doesn't dry the lips, even after a whole day of commuting. Colour payoff is fantastic, and it glides on wonderfully. Birthday Suit and the free shade I got (Iconic) both look good on me, and plays nicely with my olive undertones. Worth it!24 days ago
I bought this product because of the good reviews. But im not quite pleased with the product to be honest. The color payoff is good. It has a subtle scent. But it really chapped my lips badly. It was even in the description that it hydrates the lips, but it didnt have that effect on me. The packaging looks cheap and the lipstick cover gets off easily. Will not repurchase for sure3 months ago
I was pleasantly surprised by this lipstick! I used to own another Pink Sugar lipstick and used that one to death, so I gave this a try. What surprised me was it's not as opaque as it looks - the Deja Vu shade, with two layers, gives me enough red but almost like a stain. (Or if I bit my lips real hard.) It's not that moisturizing, but it's good enough for special occasions. This WILL transfer onto mugs and straws, but I normally don't need to reapply as the bitten-lip stain is still noticeable after eating.4 months ago
I got the shades Iconic and Birthday Suit. Both are quite pink, and I would have appreciated a lighter nude-neutral shade but they work on my skin tone. They're creamy, but not too soft. And the pigmentation is on point. One complaint I have is with the packaging. It feels quite cheap and the lipstick is not properly held in place in the bullet. It rattles quite a lot and feels like a toy lipstick like the ones we used to buy from Barbie.5 months ago
Spicing up the everyday lippie.
