I bought this without consulting my derma while I’m on topical acne treatment, and this broke me out a bit. I felt like it was a little too aggressive and abrasive for my skin and left a weird rubbery feeling on my face. Like the skin on grapes, if that makes sense.
The texture of my face feels like baby's skin after using this product. I use it every Wednesdays and Sundays. Recommended is twice weekly. But very mild
Usually I’m quite lazy about exfoliating, but Neogen’s Bio-Peel Gauze pads in Wine make it so convenient. Once or twice a week, or whenever my skin is feeling a little dull or my pores are clogged, I’ll exfoliate with these. While I think my face is usually clean, I’m surprised whenever I use the pads, because they really help to get rid of a lot of dirt in your skin. Some exfoliators can be harsh and abrasive, but I think the exfoliating side is pretty mild and gentle, and won’t cause any microtears in your skin. The result is brighter, cleaner, healthier skin.
It honestly feels like a nice spa treatment, even if I’m doing it myself. Each pad is soaked through, and I can even exfoliate down to my neck because there’s so much product. They smell like grapes—not the artificial kind (those give me a headache), but pleasant and not overpowering.
I’ll have to keep using them to speak about the anti-aging or anti-wrinkle properties, but so far, I’m loving it!
This is most definitely a staple in my skin care routine now. The wine variant, in my opinion, is the best one. It works wonders on my skin... it leaves my skin supple and bright and hydrated every after use. The exfoliating pad is A++! And the wine.... for the skin... is one the best anti aging ingredients eveeer
