Nothing but love for Devious! (Vamp broke my heart though)
I have this in Devious and Vamp and they're like 2 completely different products. The 5 stars is for Devious, while if I had only gotten Vamp, it would have been a 2... So, on every picture I've ever seen, Devious looks brown to brownish-pink. On me, however, it's a bright peach-pink! That's not the lipstick's fault, though; my lips are weird. That said, this is really good! I expected it to be runny like other argan-oil-based tints (which I actually like), but it's actually really a lip cream! This means you get full pigmentation after 1 swipe, at least for Devious. It also leaves a face-brightening pink stain that will last the rest of the day after your meal has removed the opaque peachy part of the lipstick. My only quibble is the watermelon smell. While it's not exactly bad (and some might even like it), I kind of dislike it when I can taste my lipstick when I eat. Now, as for Vamp...I really really wanted to love this, but it just won't let me. In pictures, it looks like a beautiful blood red. On my lips, it's purple. I wouldn't mind this as much if it wasn't so streaky! It took me about 3 layers to get something that looked even on my lips, and by that point the edges were a mess. As for the smell, while Devious smelled like watermelon candy, this smelled like grapes...with soy sauce. I even had my husband smell it and he said that that's spot on. I use this now as a tint (a couple of dots and spread), since it leaves the nice pink tint that Devious does, but I honestly don't know what else to do with it. It makes me so sad! With the price point and ingredients, I really wanted to love this line. If they come out with more colors, I'm totally up for giving them a try!
