Bing’s homemade pinakurat vinegar started back in 1999 as a family recipe of the Benliro clan. Since then, the recipe was improved to get the best taste as a “sawsawan” for many Filipino foods such as lumpia, chicharon, and crispy pata. Pinakurat—a Visayan term for “nakakagulat”, is made of vinegar locally sourced from Monching, a quaint town in Zamboanga Sibugay. With special ingredients, spices, and the shared love for Filipino food, Bing’s Pinakurat was born!
