In 2004, Aled Morris moved to the Philippines and started Buko Foods, a local business that specializes in creating food products out of coconut. But it wasn’t until years later when the business officially launched. Aled wanted to make Buko Foods more than just a business. He wanted Buko Foods to be an ethical, sustainable effort that helped development in the Philippines—and this would take time, effort, and a ton of help to make it happen.
Aled’s vision of Buko Foods finally became a reality and launched internationally in 2015 and in the Philippines in 2018. Today, Aled and his team work closely alongside local farmers and manufacturers to make 100% natural, ethically sourced products, ensuring that each person involved in the process benefits from every purchase. In addition to that, all their ingredients are certified organic and non-GMO, in an effort to help promote a future of sustainable farming in the country.
Of all their products, its the Buko Foods coconut spreads that are most popular among consumers. They are loved not only for their delicious, mildly sweet taste, but also their unique flavors. Currently, they offer three signature coconut jam spreads: namely, the “Buko Organic Coconut Spread,” the “Buko Organic Coconut Spread with Sea Salt,” and the “Buko Organic Coconut Spread with Cacao.”
Currently, Buko Foods is headquartered in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines but it’s available nationwide via BeautyMNL. Get your coco jam fix now! Shop and get free shipping on orders worth P1,500 or more.
