Some days, our eyebags are so blue and our pimples so red that no amount of concealer will do! Even in your adult years, the battle against blemishes is far from over. So when our skin wages war against us, we bust out the big guns: color correctors.
If you’re on a budget but dead serious about concealment, try the DETAIL Color Correctors. The first thing you’ll notice is that they look exactly like lipstick. The only difference: these tubes house four unconventional pastels. From mint green to Easter-egg yellow, these crazy colors are meant to cancel out hyper-pigmentation. They neutralize redness, bluish circles, and sallow tone when worn under concealer. And, oh, yeah—they’re undetectable, too.

Armed with these corrective tints, we’ve put together a quick guide to camouflaging common skin problems:

  • Rule #1: Use only the colors you need.
  • Rule #2: Cover it up with concealer.
  • Rule #3: Enjoy!

FOR REDNESS

If you’ve been blowing your nose for a week or an angry pimple has just decided to surface, you need a green pigment. Dab it right over areas like ruddy nostrils or swollen pimples. This should cancel out the redness instantly.

FOR DARK SPOTS

Dealing with acne scars or sun spots? A bright yellow hue will even out your complexion. Just apply it over any dark marks, then layer over your flesh-toned concealer.

FOR DULLNESS

For lackluster skin, a lavender shade is your saving grace. Apply this corrector where sallowness naturally occurs (on the cheeks, over your chin) and watch your face come to life.

FOR BLUISH UNDER-EYES

They could be caused by late nights or, simply, genetics. Point is, dark circles happen to everybody. But don’t lose hope! Since it’s opposite to blue on the color wheel, orange should camouflage your heavy eye baggage—fast.
