Yes, glass skin served us well in 2018, but it may be time for us to put this fast fave on the shelf to make space for a rising star. Everyone, meet yoga skin: the new name in dewy, no-makeup makeup looks. U.K.-based makeup artist Sara Hill appears to be its originator, sharing her tips and tricks for copping this new trend all over Instagram.

Since so much of beauty is about trying out every shiny, pretty thing under the sun, you know we had to give this one a chance. You mean you can look fresh and effortlessly flushed like you just rolled out of vinyasa without actually breaking a sweat? Yes, ma’am, and here’s how we did it!

HOW TO GET “YOGA SKIN” IN JUST 6 STEPS

STEP 1: BUILD YOUR OWN “SKIN COCKTAIL”
This step is the most crucial one in this routine, as it brings together all the essential “ingredients” for your ideal yoga glow. All you have to do is mix your choice of foundation, beauty oil, and liquid highlighter together, with the option to add “glow drops” if you want to be extra-extra.

When deciding on ratios, it’s best to consider your skin type. Our model’s on the dry side, so we used one part foundation, one part highlighter, and two parts beauty oil. Adjust to suit your skin needs accordingly!

WE USED: Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless Liquid Foundation, P399, Skin Revolution Olive + Jojoba Beauty Oil, P350 (limited time only), Benefit Girl Meets Pearl Liquid Pearl Luminizer, P1,990

STEP 2: GENTLY MASSAGE MIXTURE INTO SKIN
Next, you’ll want to use the warmth of your palms to blend the mixture together. To keep your base looking “natural,” apply your customized cocktail the way you would apply moisturizer—with your clean, bare hands. This helps the products melt into your skin seamlessly. Dab off any excess product with a damp sponge and blend away!

STEP 3: SPOT CONCEAL WHERE NECESSARY
The key to perfecting “yoga skin” is to keep coverage light, so don’t overdo it with the concealer. Your skin cocktail should have already evened out your skin tone, so be sure to use minimal product when covering up any blemishes or dark circles.

WE USED: Pink Sugar Our Lil’ Secret Concealer With Applicator, P349

STEP 4: ADD BLUSH FOR EXTRA GLOW
Think of cream blush as the cherry on top of this fresh and luminous look. To keep in theme, pick an option that’s as close to your natural flush as possible. Apply just enough to look as though you’re simply pinkish from exertion.

STEP 5: APPLY THE REST OF MAKEUP AS USUAL
Pro-tip: keep your brows clean but not too sharp and stick to a flattering MLBB lip color to stay as glow-y and au naturale as possible.

STEP 6 (OPTIONAL): SET IT AND GO!
With a fluffy brush, apply powder only over areas where your base tends to crease or break, like under your eyes, over blemishes, or around the nose. Keep a light hand when setting your makeup or risk mattifying that lovely dew!
