Falsies can do things to our lashes that regular mascara cannot, but they’re notoriously intimidating for beginners and much harder to use. To cop the faux look on the sly, allow us to show you an old trick! No sticky glue or surgeon-steady hand required—just baby powder. Yup, you read that right. Now watch this:

Crazy, right? Now you can have longer, fuller lashes in no time at all. We’d even go as far as to say they’ll double in size!

THE QUICK GUIDE

STEP 1: Pump your lashes from base to tip with an eyelash curler. STEP 2: Brush one to two coats of mascara over your lashes. (In the video, we used W7’s Absolute Lashes Mascara, but you can use whatever you like.) STEP 3: Roll a clean Q-tip in baby powder. You may also use a finely-milled translucent powder as a substitute. STEP 4: Tap off the excess, then dredge the top and bottom of your lashes in powder. Your lashes should look ashen and dusty when you’re done. STEP 5: Finally, apply another coat of mascara. Your lashes should look super-duper thick afterwards! Feel free to repeat steps 4 and 5 until you are satisfied with the volume. Who knew a normal household product like baby powder could take your lashes from mini to mega?
