The New Year always makes a girl a little nostalgic, so this weekend, why not go retro with your makeup? Using W7’s In the Night palette, I created a smoky eye vis-à-vis When Harry Met Sally-chic.
THE STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
STEP 1: I applied Lady Luck, a glittery fuchsia, on the inner half of my lids. I made sure to layer it to get intense pigmentation.
STEP 2: I then dropped Top Hat on the outer half of the lids and blended Razzamataz over the crease.
STEP 3: Bologna went straight into my outer V to darken the eye and create that smoke. I angled it outwards for the illusion of longer eyes.
STEP 4: On the lower lids, I used Abracadabra (outer corner) and then Atlanta (inner corner).
STEP 5: I then lined my eyes with Pixi’s Cat Eye Ink Eyeliner. It’s just a small, fine flick, but you can definitely go for a full cat eye with this angled pen!
STEP 6: On my lashes, I applied Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, starting from the roots and building it at the tips.
STEP 7: I finished the look with the Pink Sugar x Project Vanity Lip Crayon in Love At First Swipe, a muted brown that pairs perfectly with my loud eye look.
And there you have it! Happy New Year, beauties, and have fun tonight!
