Chances are you’ve already heard of Simple, the most awarded skincare brand EVER. But if not, let celebrity makeup artist Ting Duque show you exactly why it deserves the title. Today, she’s walking you through a day in the life of the Simple girl, starting from early morning skincare to late evening cleansing. FYI, Ting has painted the precious faces of Bea Alonzo, Liza Soberano, and many more—so we’d definitely take her advice!

SIMPLE MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE

STEP 1: CLEANSE.

The first step in any routine is making sure your skin is clean. Ting recommends the Simple Micellar Water for this because it’s quick yet thorough.
HOW TO USE: Soak a cotton pad with micellar water. Swipe the pad across your face in gentle, upward motions to lift away all traces of dirt.

STEP 2: MOISTURIZE.

After cleansing the face, you’ve got to nourish it. To smooth out any dry patches before makeup, Ting recommends the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturizer. It keeps the skin silky and even protects with SPF15.
HOW TO USE: Dispense a peso-sized amount of cream. Dot it over your forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin. Gently spread it out with your fingertips until fully absorbed.

APPLY YOUR DAYTIME LOOK

TING’S TOP TIPS:

  • Base: “A liquid foundation looks more skin-like, especially when buffed in with a brush.”
  • Brows: “Brows frame the face, so always keep them properly groomed.”
  • Blush: “A touch of color adds life to the face.”
  • Lips: “Apply it on the inner part of the lips, then slowly work your way out.”

BUILD UP NIGHTTIME LOOK

TING’S TOP TIPS:

  • Powder: “Remove excess oil, then use a powder to retouch your complexion.”
  • Brows: “Brush the brows up first, then just touchup a bit with a pencil.”
  • Liner: “A wing adds a little bit of flirt to the eyes.”
  • Blush: “A touch of color adds life to the face.”
  • Lips: “Choose a brighter shade for a more dressed up and polished look.”

SIMPLE EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE

STEP 1: REMOVE EYE MAKEUP.

For Ting, it’s always best to wipe off eye makeup before anything else since it leaves the most residue. For this step, she likes the Simple Eye Makeup Remover—a powerful bi-phase formula.
HOW TO USE: Shake the bottle to emulsify the oil and water. Soak two cotton pads with the solution. Place the pads over your closed eyes. Keep them there for about 30 seconds to dissolve makeup, then gently wipe away the residue.

STEP 2: REMOVE EVERYTHING ELSE.

For the rest of your face, the Simple Micellar Wipes will do the trick. Ting loves the ease of these powerful wipes. Each one is infused with the award-winning micellar water, so you can get bare-faced in moments.
HOW TO USE: Remove a wipe from the pack. Gently sweep it over your skin to remove makeup. Start with your lips, then move on to center, and finally, the perimeter of your face. Keep wiping until your face is clean. No rinse needed!

STEP 3: MOISTURIZE (AGAIN).

Hydration is a must for both day and night. Never forget this step!
And there you have it: the easiest, no-frills skin routine for newbies and experts alike. Celebrity-approved!
