Summertime is officially upon us! This calls for a summer-appropriate makeup look for beach trips, BBQ cookouts, and beyond. Here’s a “No Makeup Makeup” tutorial that is perfect for this season. I promise, this looks really natural and you won’t look like you have too much on your face. We’re going au naturel, only enhancing and not dramatically changing our features. Check out the video below!

Here are the products I used to create this look:

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

STEP 1: PRIMER. Primer helps reduce visible pores, wrinkles, and fine lines; erases shine and oiliness; and most of all, makes your makeup last longer! This is definitely what you need for hot summer days. I used Y.E.T.’s Fill It Up Primer, P795.

STEP 2: TINTED MOISTURIZER. We want natural coverage. You may opt to use a light foundation, but in this case, I used tinted moisturizer! This evens out the skin tone and delivers a light, flawless finish. I used NARS’ Tinted Moisturizer in St. Moritz P2,450.

STEP 3: CONCEALER. Hide those dark spots and under-eye bags with a good concealer, and look instantly awake and refreshed! I used Lioele’s Perfect Jumbo Concealer, on sale at P383.

NOTE: Don’t forget to set your base with your favorite sheer powder to make sure everything stays in place.

STEP 4: BLUSH. Add color to your cheeks by dusting on a blush that gives you a summery glow! I used L.A. Colors’ Mineral Blush in Sheer Bliss, P249.

STEP 5: BROWS. Redefine your brows by using a natural brown powder or light pencil. I used Dolly Wink’s Eyebrow Powder in Dark Chocolate, on sale at P488.

STEP 6: EYE SHADOW. For the eyes, I applied a crease-proof eye shadow that’s sure to stay on all day long. Neutral eyeshadows are perfect for the warm season! I used Neutrogena’s Crease Proof Eyeshadow in Constant Copper, P475.

STEP 7: CURL LASHES and APPLY MASCARA. Since we are skipping color for our lids, make sure you curl and apply mascara on your lashes to open up your eyes. I used Max Factor’s 2000 Calorie Dramatic Volume Mascara in Black, P655.

STEP 8: LIP COLOR. You want something moisturizing for the drying temperatures of summer. This lip plumper from Buxom is one of my top picks! I love the tingly feeling and minty flavor, and the coral shade is fit for summer. I used Buxom’s Big & Healthy Lip Polish in Debbie, P1,060.
That’s it for our no-makeup makeup look! Look and stay fresh, and enjoy the start of summer!
