With enough practice, the no-makeup makeup look is easy enough to master. Even newly-minted makeup lovers will tell you that. But what if you want to go all-out Hollywood glam? We’re talking full coverage, budge-proof everything, from base to brows. That’s a little trickier, for sure! Lucky for us, customer reviews always offer a goldmine of ideas. In this week’s roundup, they cover HD products that are as HD as they come.

1. Milani Stay Put Brow, P499 “I think my search for the perfect kilay makeup is OVER! After going through the reviews here and on YouTube, I just had to try this one and decided to make this as a Christmas gift to self - and boy, it did not disappoint! Wish I tried it sooner! I’ve just been using it for barely a week but I can already tell this one will be a staple in my kikay kit. The brush & spoolie that comes with it is equally good too. If this goes on sale I might just hoard!” - Paula

2. Dermacol Makeup Cover, P950 “I love this product so much, It’s easy to blend and all! Definitely on my on-the-go makeup pouch. You won’t need to retouch at all. Just blot and it’s oh-so fine again! I don’t think it is full coverage because once it sets on me I can see some dark spots peeking through, but it still has the best coverage among the foundations I’ve tried.” - Gianna

3. Glambox Silicone-Based Airbrush Foundation, P890 “It’s my first time to use airbrush foundation. You know what i love about this product? It simply doesn’t sag and cake on your face. It’s a 24-hr oil free foundation and looks fresh to my face even in outdoors. This is really perfect for any occasions esp formal parties. Please ask an expert make-up artist when you want to apply airbrush. Love it!” - Hope

4. Palgantong Cosmetics Theatrical Powder (20g), P1,080 “Me and my sister use this powder and it’s a must-have! After doing my no-makeup makeup look using just primer, concealer, and lip & cheek tint, I use this as my setting powder. Matte finish, yet I look so fresh and glowing. You won’t have that sticky feeling. You will feel fresh the whole day, even though if needed, you can retouch. Overall, it’s worth it.” - Keith

5. Ofra Blind the Haters Highlighter, P1,395 “I was a little bit late on the highlighter bandwagon. When I finally decided to give highlighters a go, this Blind the Haters Highlighter from Ofra was one of the first few highlighters that I gave a go and oh boy, I loved every swipe of this highlighter. It is really blinding so definitely not for the faint of heart. It is very pigmented.” - Maria

6. Mac Prep + Prime Lip, P1,100 “Love this! I’m a matte-finish lipstick fan and this is essential to keep my lips from drying out when applying lipstick. When I have time, I use this + liner + lipstick. It keeps lipstick on longer as well without it becoming too runny (unlike if you use other balms like EOS). Will definitely buy again or even stock up!” - Tricia

7. Makeup World Pucker Up Matte Lipstick, P159 “I got the shade Panama and I’m really into this matte lipstick. It has an old rose-ish hue to it. So it’s the perfect lipstick for me, not too bold and not too nude. This is very easy to apply, one coat and the color is already visible. It’s also long lasting, which is a plus because it’s very tiring to retouch especially if I’m too busy. I use this for any occasion because I think it fits everything. I also like the packaging, color black, looks expensive, but actually it’s not. I’m definitely buying this lippie again!” - Jaica

8. Imagic Lip Kohl, on sale at P95 (limited time only) “This is my first ever lip liner, so I don’t really have any point of comparison. As a lippie lover, however, I have to say that the product is really pigmented and easy to apply. I love that it’s very lightweight and nearly matches my lip color perfectly, so I can pair it with every lipstick that I own and not have a problem. There’s also more product than I expected because the liner is noticeably longer than your average pencil. Plus points for having a cover for hygienic purposes!” - Beatrice

9. Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Blusher, P299 “So my friend asked me to do her makeup on her wedding day. Kaya I really took time to find the best shades pagdating sa blush-on. I watched a review vlog from Manny and Jeffree Star and both of them recommended this in Pearlescent Pink! Marami nga ang nagsasabing dupe daw ‘to for NARS Orgasm. Given na I’m already a fan of W&W Megalast lippies, hindi na ako nag-atubili pang subukan ‘to. In all honesty, I didn’t like pala the NARS Orgasm blush kasi puro glitters lang ang nakukuha ko. Unlike this one, grabe bes, pak na pak ang color pay-off! And on top of that, sobrang affordable pa ang presyo! It’s indeed a steal! This one’s more on the peachy side though (perfect shade for every skintone), pero close din sa shade ng Orgasm. So ayun na nga. The wedding day came in, I used this along with my favorite Becca highlighter in Moonstone/Opal then sprayed on Milani setting spray on top. Solid bes! Mula umpisa hanggang uwian, pak na pak ang blush-on ni ateng! Maraming natuwa sa makeup niya. At sa sobrang tuwa ko rin, nagstock up na ako agad kasi palaging sold out ‘to. :( Ginamit ko rin pala ‘to sa groom and very natural lang ang dating! I recommend this to every blush-on lover out there! Siguradong ‘di kayo magsisisi!” - Shiela

10. Maybelline 36H Gel Liner, P399 “I love this gel liner. It’s perfect for creating dramatic lines, but it can also be used for creating subtle ones. It lasts the whole day even on my oily lids, and there is very little to no fading at the end of the day. I definitely recommend this to those who are looking for an affordable and long-lasting eyeliner.” - Candy
