Because it requires so many parts to work simultaneously, it also helps build coordination, agility, and balance. And since you only need one piece of equipment, you can jump rope anywhere. High-intensity interval training, also known as HIIT, is an exercise that combines two of the most effective fat-burning methods. The first method is high-intensity training, which pushes the body to work at maximum effort in short bursts of time. The second method is interval training, which alternates periods of high-intensity effort with periods of low-intensity effort to keep the heart rate up. By combining the two methods, HIIT increases calorie burn during and after workouts.
