It’s official: the squad to beat all squads has come together, and the results are sensational.
Count ‘em: that’s one, two, three, four of this generation’s screen queens on their respective covers of BJ Pascual’s new book. Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Barretto, Liza Soberano, and Nadine Lustre exude ingénue freshness for the photographer’s Push: Muses, Mischief, & How to Make It in Manila. It’s a celebrity photo anthology we can’t wait to get our hands on (not to mention, an alliterative dream).

Naturally, the first thing we noticed was everybody’s matching hair (French-girl messy) and makeup (au naturel). We hope you’re ready for the closeups, because there’s a whole lotta #IWokeUpLikeThis coming your way!

Let’s start with Nadine, whose bedhead is the neatest:

(We love the mascara action on her lower lashline—it’s subtle, but it makes her doe eyes positively dollish.)

Next, here’s Liza dressed in normcore, looking like a knockout:

(Whatever’s going on with that reverse cat-eye, we need the tutorial, ASAP!)

We move on to Julia, who’s serving us sideswept wavy hair realness:

(We can only see one of her peepers in this pic, but that single bushy brow, smoky eye, and fluffy falsie say it all: BLESSED.)

Finally, here’s Kathryn, who navigates this course in Wind Effect 101 like a pro:

(That soft, smudgy eye makeup looks so tempting! Alas, we are mere mortals—so we’ll stick to Kathryn’s semi-matte nude lip. #BetterSafeThanSorry)

So, who pulled off the messy hair and barely-there makeup combo best? We’re calling this a four-way tie.
