Save for a slew of pale pinks that popped up in our lipstick assortment, we haven’t seen much of the two Pantone Colors of the Year since January. You’ll remember that 2016 is the first year Pantone has spotlighted a pair of colors: Rose Quartz (a warm pink) and Serenity (a cool blue). This pastel partnership has certainly made the rounds in the style department—but beauty-wise, it’s been slim pickings.
So imagine how absolutely, positively delighted we were to discover Pantone’s Fall 2016 Color Report! (Belatedly, we might add—where have we been?) The ten shades in this report hold so much potential for beauty inspo, it’s honestly making our fingers tingle. We’re talking statement lips, standout nail color, stunning hair makeovers—everything you might want to have a go at before the -ber months descend. Color us excited!
